Puthiya
Niyamam,
the
much-anticipated
Mammootty-Nayantara
starrer,
will
not
hit
the
theatres
this
January.
According
to
the
sources,
the
AK
Sajan
directed
movie
has
been
postponed
to
February.
The
team
is
yet
to
reveal
the
actual
release
date.
The
release
has
been
postponed
again,
as
Nayantara,
who
makes
her
Malayalam
dubbing
debut
with
Puthiya
Niyamam,
is
yet
to
finish
her
part.
The
actress
was
not
able
to
finish
the
dubbing
with
her
co-actors,
as
she
was
highly
busy
with
her
other
commitments.
Nayantara's
dubbing
work
started
in
Chennai
last
week.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
true,
the
team
was
forced
to
stop
the
post-production
works
temporarily
due
to
the
same.
However,
director
AK
Sajan
is
very
particular
that
Nayantara
should
dub,
on
her
own
voice.
Puthiya
Niyamam
revolves
around
the
intercaste
couple,
Adv
Louis
Pothan
and
Vasuki
Iyer.
Louis,
who
belongs
to
an
orthodox
Christian
background,
is
a
strong
believer
of
communist
ideologies.
He
is
also
a
film
critic
and
a
social
activist.
Vasuki
is
a
Kathakali
artist,
who
is
from
a
traditional
Brahmin
family.
The
movie
is
about
an
issue
faced
by
them
and
how
they
resolve
it.
