Josettante
Hero,
directed
by
KK
Haridas
is
a
film
which
could
have
been
tackled
in
a
much
more
fashionable
way
than
it
has
been.
It
is
a
story
of
a
producer
who
is
in
great
debt
and
somehow
realises
his
dream
of
making
a
nice
meaningful
film,
which
is
also
a
hit.
In
the
film
industry,
where
super
heroes
and
big
budgeted
films
are
given
more
importance,
here
is
an
honest
attempt
at
declaring
that
good
and
interesting
films
can
be
made
on
a
low
budget
with
meaningful
scripts.
Josettante
Hero,
narrates
the
story
of
a
producer
(played
by
Vijayaraghavan)
who
is
heavily
in
debt,
but
wants
to
make
a
good
meaningful
film
amidst
hundreds
of
other
personal
problems.
Though
the
director's
attempt
at
narrating
an
emotional
success
story
is
good,
one
is
unable
to
'feel'
for
the
central
character.
Anoop
Menon
repeatedly
fails
in
his
endeavour
to
bring
in
some
humour.
Suraj
Venjaramoodu
is
simply
'irritating'
as
he
goes
overboard
in
the
so-called
'humorous'
scenes
in
the
film
Josettante
Hero.
The
story
lacks
creativity.
Ashokan
essays
the
role
of
the
superstar.
Josettante
Hero
will
be
remembered
for
the
wonderful
performance
by
Vijayaraghavan
and
Anoop
Menon.
Otherwise,
nothing
great
about
the
film.
