The festival will be held from December 17 to 26, and will showcase 120 films from 36 countries. The movies will be screened at Woodlands, Symphony and South Indian Film Chamber theatres.
S.Ve.Shekher, an actor turned politician (MLA of Mylapore constituency) said that the Tamil Nadu government has sanctioned Rs.25 lakhs to conduct this festival.
