Bala's
disciple
and
debutant
director
actor
Sasikumar's
Subramanyapuram
becomes
the
classical
blockbuster
of
this
season
and
even
sidelined
the
mega
budgeted
Dasavatharam
in
the
very
third
week
of
its
release.
Though
Dasavatharam
has
already
become
a
hit
in
Tamil,
the
average
inflow
of
viewers
in
the
5
week
of
its
release
has
diminished
a
lot
and
most
of
the
theaters
are
waiting
for
a
suitable
replacement
for
Dasavatharam.
Currently,
the
film
is
showing
at
14
theaters
in
Chennai
and
9
out
of
them
will
change
the
film
at
the
time
of
Kuselan
release.
Subramanyapuram
is
screening
at
6
screens
in
Chennai
15
screens
in
outer
Chennai,
but
the
average
inflow
of
viewers
is
100
percent
for
all
the
shows!
Especially,
in
Shanthi
and
Udhayam
many
viewers
returned
with
disappointment
due
to
the
unavailability
of
tickets
for
the
night
show
on
Tuesday.
After
seeing
this
overwhelming
response,
the
distributors
decided
to
screen
the
film
in
3
more
theaters
in
the
city.
In
week
days
also,
the
film
manages
with
100
percent
attendance
and
has
already
collected
its
entire
budget
even
at
the
end
of
its
second
week
run
in
Chennai
city
and
suburbs
only.
