Bharathiraja refuses to speak at the Yogi stage

Teamwork productions launched the audio of Ameer's much awaited film Yogi directed by Subramaniashiva on Sunday morning (Sep 13) at Sathyam Cinemas.

Though director Bharathiraja, the Guru of Modern Tamil Cinema was the chief guest for the function, he refused to speak in the stage. Later director Cheran explained that the veteran director is showing his angry towards this senseless society through his silence.

Earlier a very slick trailer of the film with English voiceover was showcased along with a mass kuthu song mixed with Bharathanatiyam Chennai Koovathilae... choreographed by Dinesh and picturised on Ameer and his gang. The heroine of the film Madhumita and second lead heroine Swathy also attended the event.

Among those present were actors Jayam Ravi, Jeeva, Silambarasan, Sasikumar, Cheran directors Bala, Seeman, Karu Palaniappan, Radhamohan, Samuthrakani and other bigwigs of the industry like Hansraj Saxena, Ramanarayanan, KRG, Editor Mohan, Paneerselvam and Kalaipuli Sekharan.
