Thaandavam will hit screens on Sep 28

Chennai: Vikram's much-awaited Thaandavam will hit the screens, as expected, on September 28. Sources have confirmed the news and said that it would release in good number of screens in the last week of this month in both Tamil and Telugu, simultaneously.

The movie marks the come back of hit combination - Vikram, Anushka Shetty, AL Vijay and UTV Motion Pictures. Their earlier movie Deiva Thirumagal had won thumbs up from critics as well as audience across the South.

In the forthcoming movie, Vikram will be seen as a blind person but gifted with human echolocation, the ability to detect objects in their environment by sensing echoes from those objects. While Anushka Shetty plays the role of his wife, Amy Jackson plays a British-born-Tamil girl in Thaandavam.

Meanwhile, reports say that Daniel Kish, an American expert in human echolocation and President of World Access for the Blind, will be coming to Chennai to meet the Thaandavam unit. It is said that the role of Vikram in the movie is inspired by him.
