Vikram's Thaandavam has started getting good positive talks with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Silambarasan giving thumbs up for the movie. After watching the movie at a premiere show organised at Sathyam Cinemas on Thursday (September 27) evening, they have reportedly praised the performance of Chiyaan and director AL Vijay, who has helmed the project.

The prominent guests of the special screening were actor Vijay, Silamabarasan, Harris Jayaraj, Venkat Prabhu, Krishna, Vijay Anthony and others. Sources say that the guests were impressed by the brilliant story and the magnificent acting of Vikram. They even had good words about the director and other actors like Jagapathi Babu, Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson. The première show has earned Rs 25 lakhs, which has been donated to charity.

We hear that the beautiful locations, background score by GV Prakash Kumar and Nirav Shah's cinematography have also got a lot of appreciation. However, Thaandavam is an action-romantic film, where Vikram plays the role of a blind, who practises human echolocation to detect objects in his environment. This character is inspired by Daniel Kish, an American expert in human echolocation and President of World Access for the Blind.
