started
getting
good
positive
talks
with
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay
and
Silambarasan
giving
thumbs
up
for
the
movie.
After
watching
the
movie
at
a
premiere
show
organised
at
Sathyam
Cinemas
on
Thursday
(September
27)
evening,
they
have
reportedly
praised
the
performance
of
Chiyaan
and
director
AL
Vijay,
who
has
helmed
the
project.
The
prominent
guests
of
the
special
screening
were
actor
Vijay,
Silamabarasan,
Harris
Jayaraj,
Venkat
Prabhu,
Krishna,
Vijay
Anthony
and
others.
Sources
say
that
the
guests
were
impressed
by
the
brilliant
story
and
the
magnificent
acting
of
Vikram.
They
even
had
good
words
about
the
director
and
other
actors
like
Jagapathi
Babu,
Anushka
Shetty
and
Amy
Jackson.
The
première
show
has
earned
Rs
25
lakhs,
which
has
been
donated
to
charity.
We
hear
that
the
beautiful
locations,
background
score
by
GV
Prakash
Kumar
and
Nirav
Shah's
cinematography
have
also
got
a
lot
of
appreciation.
However,
Thaandavam
is
an
action-romantic
film,
where
Vikram
plays
the
role
of
a
blind,
who
practises
human
echolocation
to
detect
objects
in
his
environment.
This
character
is
inspired
by
Daniel
Kish,
an
American
expert
in
human
echolocation
and
President
of
World
Access
for
the
Blind.
