Looks
like
producers
are
not
yet
comfortable
in
investing
a
king's
ransom
for
movies
that
have
'Chiyaan'
Vikram
in
the
lead
as
his
upcoming
project
Marma
Manithan
is
finding
it
hard
to
withhold
a
producer.
Having
said
that,
Shibu
Thameens,
one
of
the
producers
of
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay's
recently
released
Puli,
has
come
forward
to
fund
the
relatively
high
budget
movie,
but
not
before
two
bankrollers
backed
out
of
the
project.
After
Kalaipuli
S
Thanu
decided
to
let
go
off
the
movie
citing
his
commitment
towards
other
projects
like
Vijay
59
and
Rajinikanth's
Kabali,
Ayngaran
International
too,
backed
away
at
the
very
last
minute.
Though
Kalaipuli
S
Thanu's
decision
was
accompanied
by
a
reason,
it
is
still
not
clear
why
Ayngaran
International
gave
up
on
the
project.
But
a
reliable
source
has
indicated
that
the
decision
might've
been
taken
due
to
the
escalating
budget
of
Marma
Manithan.
Interestingly,
it
was
recently
reported
that
the
production
company
had
actually
requested
Vikram
to
reduce
his
salary.
Now
with
Ayngaran
backing
out
of
the
project,
speculations
are
rife
that
Vikram's
salary
and
the
huge
budget
of
the
film
might
sum
up
to
form
a
hefty
amount,
forcing
producers
to
think
twice
before
involving
themselves
in
the
project.
Having
battled
out
his
own
issues
post
the
release
of
Puli,
Shibu
Thameens'
decision
to
fund
yet
another
high
budget
film
is
respectable.
