AR Rahman Concert Ticket Scam Exposed? AR Rahman's music concert 'Marakkuma Nenjam' was held last Sunday. Fans suffered a lot because proper arrangements were not made for this event held in ECR area of Chennai. Thousands of fans left the concert in frustration.

ACTC Events Spoiled AR Rahman's Reputation

AR Rahman is one of the most prominent music composers of Indian film industry. AR Rahman, who has made India proud by winning two Oscars at the same time, has been performing in music concerts all over the world. After about 5 years, AR Rahman's concert was held in Chennai.

This musical concert, which was scheduled to take place last month (August 12), was postponed due to heavy rains. Accordingly, AR Rahman's concert was held on Sunday (September 10) in ECR area of Chennai. Many celebrities including director Mani Ratnam's family and actor Ajith's family attended the event. However, due to lack of proper arrangements for the fans, the show became a disaster.

It is said that there are no seating facilities for those who went inside. On the other hand, due to lack of parking facilities, there was a traffic jam. Despite more than 700 police personnel on security duty, the ECR came to a standstill as it could not cope with the traffic jam. At one point, Chief Minister Stalin's vehicle also got stuck in the traffic jam. AR Rahman himself took responsibility for everything while the show became a controversy.

He also announced that the ticket money will be fully refunded to the fans who were unable to watch the show. However, fans continue to voice their opinions against AR Rahman and the organizers of the show. At the same time, celebrities from the film industry expressed their support for AR Rahman. Meanwhile, the police, who investigated the incident, said that they allowed only 25,000 people to attend the event. However, as more than 40,000 people gathered there, there was difficulty in the security work, they said.

Also, it was revealed that ACTC Events, who coordinated the concert, recruited college students as volunteers. Apart from that, they are not given enough training. Similarly, the ACTC company, which took permission from the police for only 25,000 people, has sold up to 40,000 tickets. Due to this, the police security has been disturbed and the fans have also suffered due to lack of seating facilities.

Similarly, it has been revealed that the ground where the concert of Marakkuma Nenjam took place can only accommodate up to 25000 people. It has now come to light that ACTC has cheated fans and the police department by selling more tickets. In this situation, Hemant, the founder of ACTC, who organized the program, has apologized. In the video released by him in this regard, he clarified that AR Rahman had nothing to do with all these and asked fans not to blame AR Rahman in this. He also assured disappointed fans that their money would be refunded and took responsibility for all the mess.
