Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: Rajan Shahi's YRKKH is counted among the most successful shows in the history of Indian TV and has been entertaining fans for the past 14 years. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai currently tells the story of the third generation and stars Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda in the lead roles of Akshara and Abhimanyu respectively.
As the family drama has been faring well on the TRP front, the makers introduced Jay Soni at the beginning of this year as Abhinav who turned out to be a support system for Akshara after her separation from Abhimanyu. Initially, the actor received a lot of criticism, negativity, and trolling from AbhiRa as well as Harshad Chopda-Pranali Rathod fans. However, with time, he made his presence felt and viewers started shipping Akshara and Abhinav as AkshNav.
In a shocking turn of events, the makers introduced another twist last month with the track of Abhinav's death. After being a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for around eight months, Jay Soni finally bid adieu to the long-running show. While a big section of YRKKH viewers are still missing seeing him as Abhinav, the actor is trying to move on in life.
JAY SONI ON GETTING TROLLED BY ABHIRA FANS
In a recent interview post his exit, Jay Soni opened up about experiencing nasty trolling from AbhiRa fans during his stint as Abhinav. He told Tellychakkar, "Before this, I never had faced all these things. This was the first time, but honestly, I didn't pay much attention to all that because I was not there for all that. I was there to do my job as an actor, mai wahi kar raha tha. My only aim was ki the writer should be happy, producer should be happy, director should be happy, and the audience should be happy, watching. So, theek hai, you cannot please everyone, and you should not also. Aap kitna bhi kuch accha karoge, 10 mei se do logon ko aap bure hi lagoge. I never paid attention. Agar attention pay karta toh shayad Abhinav itna ubhar ke nahi aata, mai concentrate nahi kar pata. So, I never paid that much attention."
On being asked if the negativity affected him, the actor added, "I thought about it then I laughed about it, and then I moved on. Arey, I'm just doing my job and I'm not going to stop doing my job for anybody. I'm gonna keep doing it for what I'm here for, what I had signed for, and I'll do it. See, I'm okay if people criticise my work, my acting, and all. But, rest, only I can do is improve my performance. It's their opinion, I'm okay with it."

After bidding goodbye to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Jay Soni is currently enjoying quality time with her family and is yet to announce his next project.
