Director Vi Anand and Sundeep Kishan have joined hands together for a science fiction fantasy thriller titled 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona.' The movie hit the screens after a long wait on February 16 to majorly positive reviews. Sundep Kishan came back on the track along with the director, who earlier made films like 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada,' 'Okka Kshanam,' and 'Disco Raja.'

The movie's premieres have been getting mixed reactions from the film buffs and critics. While some are talking highly about the film being a perfect comeback to the actor as well as the director, a few say that the movie has a few drawbacks including the poor flashback and predictability.

On its release day, Sundeep Kishan's movie is expected to earn about Rs 3 Crore. But, it managed to make about Rs 2.6 Crore from India. Overall, Sundeep Kishan's movie is making solid numbers due to a lack of competition at the box office. In this fantasy thriller, Sundeep Kishan played the role of Basava. It also features Kavya Thapar in the role of 'Agraharam' Geetha, Varsha Bollamma as Bhoomi, Vennela Kishore as Doctor Narappa, Harsha Chemudu as John, P Ravi Shankar as Rajappa, and Vadivukkarasi as Pedamma among others in prominent roles.

This Vi Anand directorial story was written by Bhanu Bogavarapu. Nandu Savirigana wrote the dialogues. Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta bankrolled the film under the Hasya Movies banner, which is being presented by Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments banner. Chota K. Prasad and Raj Thota worked as the film's editor and cinematographer. Shekar Chandra composed the entire music and background score.
