Writer-director Vi Anand's latest fantasy drama titled Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, featuring Sundeep Kishan, Varsha Bollamma, and Kavya Thapar in the lead roles, was released amid decent expectations on February 16. The movie has been gaining mixed response at the box office with film buffs and critics highlighting a few aspects of the film, which would have been become a massive hit otherwise.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Synopsis

Basava (Sundeep Kishan) is a stunt double in need of so much money. He, along with his friend John (Viva Harsha) steals a bride's jewelry in desperation. As they try to escape the cops, they decide to help a girl named Agrahaaram Geetha (Kavya Thapar) who gets injured in a car accident. The trio then reach a mysterious village called Bhairavakona where they face critical situations.

On the release day, Sundeep Kishan-Varsha Bollamma's Ooru Peru Bhairavakona made a decent Rs 2.6 Crore. Due to lack of competition, the movie continued to perform well even after the first weekend and the word-of-mouth was also a bit positive that helped the movie's theatrical run.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Cast

In this fantasy thriller, Sundeep Kishan played the role of Basava. It also features Kavya Thapar in the role of 'Agraharam' Geetha, Varsha Bollamma as Bhoomi, Vennela Kishore as Doctor Narappa, Harsha Chemudu as John, P Ravi Shankar as Rajappa, and Vadivukkarasi as Pedamma among others in prominent roles.

This Vi Anand directorial story was written by Bhanu Bogavarapu. Nandu Savirigana wrote the dialogues. Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta bankrolled the film under the Hasya Movies banner, which is being presented by Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments banner. Chota K. Prasad and Raj Thota worked as the film's editor and cinematographer. Shekar Chandra composed the entire music and background score.
