Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2010, and she wore a beautiful ivory gold saree with matching earrings and rings. And again in 2022, she attended the meeting as a jury member in a traditional saree. Deepika looks gorgeous in that, and the audience was amazed by her appearance in a saree that was designed with 1200 pearls and 200 crystals.
Sonam Kapoor
Every time Sonam Kapoor wears a saree, she looks gorgeous. Sonam Kapoor drew attention in 2013 and 2014 when she came down a red carpet wearing both a traditional Indian saree and one that was entirely embroidered. She didn't appear in 2015, but she did so again in a futuristic black saree with a shiny blue pattern in 2016.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
The first celebrity to appear on the Cannes red carpet wearing a traditional saree was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She appears to be eye-catching gold to everybody who steps up to watch Devadas at a film festival in 2002. And eight years later, she reappeared wearing a stunningly stitched saree and a black plain-sleeved blouse.
Kangana Ranaut
In both 2018 and 2019, Kangana Ranaut made a presence at the Cannes Film Festival, looking lovely in a black and gold saree. It was this combination of vintage and traditional style that won Kangana the hearts of viewers.
Vidya Balan
In 2013, Vidya Balan wore a maroon blouse with a dark beige silk saree to the Cannes film festival in an elegant, classic, and upgraded style. Every saree had its own design, but Vidya made sure that each one at Cannes celebrated her fondness for sarees.
