Mufasa: The Lion King Box Office Collection Day 3 In India: Disney's latest animated release 'Mufasa: The Lion King' is having a roaring run at the box office in India despite the Pushpa 2 rage. Directed by Barry Jenkins, the American epic musical-adventure had its highly-anticipated release globally on 20th December 2024. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Mufasa: The Lion King sparked excitement among Indian fans over its star-studded voice cast in dubbed versions. Mufasa: The Lion King First Weekend Box Office Collection In India

Mufasa: The Lion King, the prequel to the 2019 Disney film 'The Lion King', focuses on the origin of Mufasa. In the Hindi version, Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan lent their voices to Mufasa, Simba and younger Mufasa respectively. On the other hand, superstar Mahesh Babu dubbed for the Telugu Mufasa, while Arjun Das lent his voice for the Tamil Mufasa.

Amid high anticipation, the animated prequel kickstarted its theatrical journey on a roaring note. As per Sacnilk, Mufasa: The Lion King minted around Rs 8.8 cr on the day of its release, followed by significant jump in numbers due to the craze. According to Sacnilk, the film saw over 55% jump on Saturday and scored approximately Rs 13.7 cr on day 2, while it earned Rs 18.75 cr on Sunday. As of now, the 3-day total nett collection (including all languages) stands at Rs 41.25 cr in India.
