Raees Story

Raees is a Bollywood action-crime-thriller movie directed by Rahul Dholakia. The movie stars Shahrukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Story In Detail:

As per the filmmakers, Raees story is a pure work of fiction, it's not based on any person, living or dead. The movie is set against the backdrop of 1980's Gujarat, which tells the story of a bootlegger whose business is thwarted by a tough policeman(Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

In Raees, SRK plays the role of a bootlegger named 'Raees', who has established himself as Gujarat's most ruthless crime lord at the peak of 1980′s. Pakistani actress and former VJ, Mahira Khan plays the love interest of SRK in Raees.

Soundtrack:

The music and background score for the film is composed by Ram Sampath. Raees first song 'Laila Main Laila' featuring Sunny Leone in desi avatar, has already entered the hit chart. This song itself is a remake of 70's hit song Laila O Laila from Qurbani.

First Look & Trailer:

The movie posters and trailer got a thumps up from both the critics and audiences. As of now the trailer has got a record views of 36+ million.

Release Date:

Raees was earlier scheduled for Eid 2016, but was postponed to avoid box office conflict between Salman Khan starrer Sultan.
