Shamitabh Story
Shamitabh movie revolves around two individuals, who come together for a purpose, but drift apart due to their ego.
The movie is about that dark side of film industry that exposes the jealousy of the actors or their greed for stardom. Now we are not saying it contains real life stories, but a side of the film industry that we are not aware of.
Amitabh Sinha (Amitabh Bachchan) is an alcoholic who once had dreams of becoming an actor and making it big while Danish (Dhanush) is a deaf and mute person who comes from a small town to Mumbai city with the dreams of becoming a superstar.
Debutante Akshara Haasan plays the role of a director who makes use of a technology from Finland and combines the talents of Amitabh and Danish to make a perfect recipe for stardom. The duo give themselves the name of Shamitabh.
It is during this journey, when success actually goes into his head that he starts dictating terms to Amitabh, who also starts suffering from the same ego issues as Daanish. Amidst these clashes, there arrives a journalist who gets his hand on the much guarded secret about Shamitabh's truth.
