Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Story

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (aka TJMM) is a romantic comedy-drama movie penned and helmed by Luv Ranjan. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, along with Boney Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, and many others in supporting roles. For the first time, Ranbir is paired with Shraddha Kapoor in this film. Additionally, it represents Ranbir Kapoor's long-overdue return to the rom-com style.

Hitesh Sonik scored the background music for this movie, and Pritam Chakraborty composed the soundtracks. The cinematography was handled by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran, and Akiv Ali and Chetan Solanki edited the movies. This film was produced by Ankur Garg and LUV Ranjan under the banner of LUV Films. A significant Hindi-language theatrical release is distributed by Yash Raj Films.

Plot

The romantic comedy drama "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" depicts the storyline of first-site love between Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor play the roles of Rohan 'Mickey' Arora and Nisha 'Tinni' Malhotra, respectively. Mickey travels to Spain with his buddy Dabbas for his bachelor party. It's interesting to see Kinchi, Dabbas's fiancé, invite her friend Tinni to come with them to Spain. Mickey and Tinni fall in love when the couples begin romping and making love together. A lot of humour is centred on the families, and the movie flows with romance, feelings, and humour. The movie is also an intellectual battle between men and women about viewpoints on families.

Release

In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Ranbir Kapoor has participated in a session of the Red Sea International Film Fest. The firm unveiled the crew and promoted the title there. TJMM was released in theatres on March 8, 2023, which was during the Holi holiday.
