During an interview with India Today, Anjali Anand who essayed the role of Gayatri in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, talked about veteran actress and co-star in the film, Jaya Bachchan. She said, “Jaya ji, the opinion that people have of her is completely wrong because she is the sweetest and cutest person I have met. She is like a child. She would come in the morning and would be so enthusiastic. With people around, she is so loving and caring. When anyone says they are hungry on sets, she would literally open all her tiffin boxes and ensure everyone is well-fed. She is very caring.” She added, “Doing that scene in front of her, you might think that she must be standing in anger on the other side during the over-the-shoulder shot but she was crying, in fact! Because I was crying during the scene. She is a very warm and ‘mastikhor’ person.”

Recently, the veteran star opened about the scene and said, “I did get messages about the kissing scene. And, when I was told that there was going to be such a scene, I said ‘Captain mazboot ho toh team accha khelti hai. Ye toh mere daayein haath ka khel hai. Jab mujhe mauka milta hai, main chakka maarta hoon. Aur agar mauka mila hai toh gawauga nahin (If the captain is strong, then the team performs well. This is my left hand's job. Whenever I get a chance, I straightaway throw a sixer. So, if I have been given a chance, I will not lose it).”

Alia Bhatt is making her Heart Of Stone also starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the lead. So many there already knew about drugs, drug lords, and had been there in the country for a long time. They knew more about the situation than I did. I went into a cloud of darkness, and had no idea what was going on. It was a culture shock. I was also shocked with the overall situation. I was mentally overthinking the entire situation, and trying to make sense ‘why would someone do this to me?’," she added.

Actor Govinda took to his Instagram account to clarify that his Twitter page has been hacked, hours after a tweet relating to Haryana Nuh violence went viral on the internet. The tweet is now deleted. Sharing a video, Govinda said, "I would like to say that my Twitter account has been hacked, so please do not attribute the Haryana tweet to me. I have not posted it." Three dancers from Lizzo’s tour have accused the singer of sexual harassment and filed a lawsuit against her on Tuesday, July 1. The lawsuit mentions the incidents that took place between 2021 and 2023, alleging a hostile work environment through sexual, racial, and religious harassment created by the singer. The plaintiffs have been identified as Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, while the defendants are Lizzo, Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc., and Lizzo’s dance captain, Shirlene Quigley. In their claims, the dancers revealed that Lizzo would make them eat bananas from s*x workers’ vaginas. It also says, "Things quickly got out of hand. Lizzo began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas." Lizzo has also been accused of pressuring Arianna to touch a nude performer’s breasts and of deceiving the dancers to attend nude shows.

The Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam starrer social commentary film OMG 2 trailer was dropped on Thursday, August 3. Directed by Amit Rai, the film will be released in theatres on August 11. The three-minute trailer offers a glimpse into the life of a teacher played by Pankaj who dies at his son’s school after his son is expelled from it, based on a video that circulated on the internet. Bollywood art director Nitin Desai was found dead at his studio in Karjat on Wednesday, which is 80 km away from Mumbai. According to the preliminary findings, the reason behind his death was hanging, Raigad Police said. His body was brought to the JJ Hospital by Khalapur Police for a postmortem. Meanwhile, the investigation is underway. The police said, "Postmortem of art director Nitin Desai has been conducted by a team of four doctors. As per preliminary findings, the cause of death is due to hanging. Further investigation is underway." The renowned art director was under financial stress, which may have led to the end of his life, said Maharashtra MLA Mahesh Baldi. Further, Raigad Superintendent of Police (SP) Somnath Gharge informed the media, "His family members have told us that his last rites will take place at ND Studios. His body has been taken for postmortem to JJ Hospital."
