Jr NTR has filed a writ petition in the Telangana High Court challenging the Debt Recovery Tribunal's decision regarding the ownership of a plot. The plot, measuring over 600 square yards, is located in Jubilee Hills Housing Society. Jr NTR, through General Power of Attorney holder K Rajeshwar Rao, seeks to overturn the DRT order issued on April 30. The RRR actor purchased the plot from Sunku Geetha and constructed a building on the site in 2007, reportedly obtaining all necessary legal permissions. However, a dispute has now arisen over this property.

Kiccha Sudeep is set to return to the silver screen after a two-year hiatus with his upcoming Kannada film, Max. A massive dust storm hit Mumbai on Monday (May 13), causing a tragic incident in the Ghatkopar locality where a large hoarding collapsed, resulting in the death of 16 people. Among the deceased were a couple, Manoj Chansoria, a 60-year-old retired Air Traffic Control (ATC) general manager, and his wife Anita, 59, who were relatives of Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan. According to an Indian Express report, Kartik Aaryan attended their last rites held in the city on Thursday (May 16). It is being said that the deceased couple had stopped at a petrol pump near the hoarding to refill their car's fuel tank while returning to their home in Madhya Pradesh. Tragically, the hoarding collapsed on their vehicle, crushing them to death.

Multiplex chain PVR Inox has announced a consolidated loss of Rs. 130 crores for the quarter ending on March 31, according to a report by Economic Times. This marks a significant improvement from the loss of Rs. 333 crores reported in the same period last year. However, the chain saw a profit of Rs. 13 crores in the October to December quarter. PVR Inox disclosed its revenue from operations at Rs. 1256 crores, reflecting a 10% increase from the Rs. 1143 crores reported a year ago. For the full financial year, the company reported a loss of Rs. 32 crores, a notable decrease from the Rs. 335 crores loss in FY23. Its revenue for the same period stood at Rs. 6107 crores, significantly higher than the Rs. 3751 crores reported a year ago.
