Given the ongoing India-Pakistan tension, the makers of Sardaar Ji 3 skipped its theatrical release in India and decided to release the film on June 27, 2025 (today, Friday), overseas only.

Meanwhile, recently, several media reports claimed that Sardaar Ji 3 got the green light to have a theatrical release in Pakistan. As per News18, screenshots of theatre listings in various Pakistani cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Sialkot are doing rounds on the internet.

Amid severe backlash in India, Diljit Dosanjh's Punjabi film with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has sparked quite a strong buzz overseas. Umair Sandhu, an alleged member of the overseas Censor Board, has shared the exclusive first review of Sardaar Ji 3.
