Amjad Farid Sabri Biography
Amjad Farid Sabri was a famous Pakistani Qawwali singer and the son of renowned Qawwal Ghulam Farid Sabri.
He started to learn music at the age of nine years and his first music teacher was his own father. Haji Ghulam Fareed Sabri was a legend himself for decades, and at the age of 12, Amjad Sabri was performing with his father in late 1988.
On 22th June 2016, a unknown gunmen riding motorbikes opened fire on a car in Karachi and killed Amjad Sabri.
Amjad Sabri was in the news since he claimed that Bajrangi Bhaijaan violated copyrights by using the qawwali Bhar Do Jholi without obtaining the rights.
