Biography

Anthony Geffen is an established filmmaker, one of the top producers of documentary films, and a specialist in the animation field. His best-known works include Rise of the Animals: Triumph of the Vertebrates (2013), First Life (2010), and The Wildest Dream (2010). He is the founder of "Atlantic Productions," a production firm formed in 1992. He is the only producer to win three Emmys in a single year for a documentary and the first filmmaker to win the prestigious BAFTA award for Specialist Factual twice (in 2014 and in 2011). Before founding Atlantic Productions in 1992, he spent ten years working at the BBC. The business currently offers apps, 3D, CGI, and virtual reality. His plays and documentaries for television, the big screen, and IMAX explore a wide range of topics, including modern issues, history, science, natural history, current affairs, the arts, and music. Through Geffen-Medavoy Pictures, he also creates theatre firms and other efforts. In terms of digital technology, he served as a major designer. He collaborates with top businesses to create stories for cutting-edge platforms, including prestigious software. He also regularly contributes to eminent international publications and speaks as a guest at numerous conferences around the world, including Google Zeitgeist, TedX, and the Apple Developers' Conference.
