Fathima Babu is a former Tamil actress who has also appeared in Malayalam films. Fathima Babu also used to be a newsreader for DD Podhigai, the Tamil version of Doordarshan news.

Fathima babu is a TV Actress and she has attracted millions of people over her modulation, voice and pronounciation. She is born in Pondicherry and she is Malayalee by her mother tongue. She has read news in all the TV Channels and she has also acted in number of movies as lead roles and supporting actress. She is also known for acting in TV series in Tamil and Malayalam.

Fathima Babu was born in Puducherry in 1968 to a Malayali family. later she moved to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
