Sangeetha Sringeri Biography

Sangeetha Sringeri is an Indian actress primarily active in the Kannada language. Renowned as Sathi/Parvatii for her portrayal in the Kannada daily soap "Hara Hara Mahadeva," she gained widespread recognition. In 2014, she achieved a top 10 position at the Femina Miss India beauty pageant and secured the runner-up position at the world supermodel contest.


Born into a defense family in Sringeri, her father, Shiva Kumar K, is an ex-serviceman in the Indian Air Force, while her mother, Bhavani Shiva Kumar, is a herbal wellness coach. Sringeri, a NCC cadet, represented Karnataka in Kho kho, winning a gold medal in 2012.


Her acting journey began with Star Suvarna's "Hara Hara Mahadeva," where she earned the nickname Sati/Parvathi. Later, she participated in the Super Jodi reality show organized by the same channel.


In 2018, she made her debut in feature films with "A+." After considering over 50 scripts, she chose the Kannada movie "A+," a subtle sequel to Upendra's cult classic "A," directed by Upendra's associate Vijay Surya. Her portrayal of Yashaswini received critical acclaim.


In 2022, Sringeri secured a significant role as the lead actress opposite Rakshit Shetty in "777 Charlie," produced by Paramvah Studios and presented by Pushkar Films. She auditioned for the role through Facebook, triumphing over 2,700 other entries. In the same year, she also appeared in "Lucky Man" and "Pampa Panchalli Parashivamurthy."


Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 


Sangeetha Sringeri participated in the Kannada reality show Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10. She will enter the house on October 8th, 2023 hosted by Baadshah Kiccha Sudeep. Sangeetha Sringeri emerged as one of the most resilient contestants in the house, displaying unwavering determination in tasks and arguments. She consistently stood tall in all aspects, garnering robust audience support throughout the season. Making history in Bigg Boss, she became the only contestant to secure back-to-back captaincy in the house. Despite being one of the finalists among the top 6 contestants, she, unfortunately, exited Bigg Boss as the 1st runner-up, earning a cash prize of 7 Lakhs.
