Vijayakumar Biography

Vijayakumar is a senior Kollywood film artist in Chennai.

Vijayakumar was born in Nattuchalai in India. He has six children, two daughters and a son (Arun Vijay) from his wife, Muthulakshmi, and three daughters with his second wife, the yesteryear actress Manjula. Arun Vijay, his only son, is an actor, whilst his daughters, Vanitha, Pritha and Sreedevii have all appeared in a couple of films each, without tasting particular success.

He has played a variety of films and is a 'cult' favourite. At his peak, if Vijayakumar was cast in the supporting role, the film was thought of as being a complete one. He has acted as a friend, villain, brother and father of his contemporary star Rajinikanth at various points in time of his film career.
