The Wild Robot Story
The Wild Robot is an animated drama, based on the beloved series of books by Peter Brown and directed by Chris Sanders.
The movie features an impressive voice cast, including Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, Kit Connor, and Catherine O'Hara. The script is penned by Sanders himself, while Jeff Hermann helms production. Raymond Zibach, known for his creative vision, leads production design, and Heidi Jo Gilbert heads the storytelling. Mary Blee takes charge of the film's editing.
Movie Plot
This epic adventure centers around Roz, a robot from the ROZZUM unit 7134, who finds herself stranded on a remote, uninhabited island after a shipwreck. As Roz explores the island, she must adapt to the wild, learning to survive in the natural environment. Over time, Roz begins forming bonds with the island's wildlife and eventually becomes the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling. Her journey is one of transformation, self-discovery, and learning what it means to be alive.
