Kim Sae Ron Leaked Audio Recording: The ongoing dating scandal around Kim Soo Hyun and late Kim Sae Ron took an unexpectedly shocking turn on May 7. The press conference, held by GaroSaero Research Institute (HoverLab), and the attorney representing Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family Bu Ji Seok in Seoul, exposed shocking details about Soo-hyun and Sae-ron's past relationship.

In the press conference, as reported by Koreaboo, GaroSero's Kim Se Ui shared an audio recording of the late actress, in which she admitted getting intimate with the 'Queen of Tears' actress when she was in 8th standard. Talking to the acquaintance (in the same audio recording), she also admitted that the actor had slept with an idol and would send pictures of them to her.

The press conference erupted a new string of allegations around Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron's dating controversy. During the press meet, Kim Se Eui and the 'Bloodhounds' actress' family revealed that the audio recording was from Jan 2025, weeks before the actress took her own life. It was held to share more evidence against Kim Soo Hyun that he, indeed, dated Kim Sae-ron when she was just a 'minor'.

However, ever since then, K-netizens have been questioning the authenticity of the leaked audio recording. Reacting to the tape, netizens have expressed their doubts and concerns, debating whether it was AI-generated or not.

In the leaked audio, as per a Pinkvilla report, the late actress also mentioned YouTuber Lee Jin-ho's name and revealed that he kept pestering her about her personal lie, adding to her distress. On the same day, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho dropped his own YouTube video and dismissed the audio as 'fake' and called the allegations against him "clear manipulation". "The tapes were fabricated using AI-generated voices, (sic)" the YouTuber stated.

The YouTuber further claimed, "A third party, this fraudster from New Jersey, added his voice and noise to the AI-generated audio, which was later passed off as a genuine recording. (sic)"

On the other hand, HoverLab also shared a set of pictures and claimed that the informant 'Whistleblower', who revealed the audio recording to them, was recently attacked. The new allegation sparked speculations that Kim Soo Hyun might have a connection to the crime.

Reacting to the assault photos, Soo-hyun's agency GOLD MEDALIST issued an official statement that read, as translated by Koreaboo, "Garo Sero's false claims are unacceptable and difficult to accept even with common sense. The photos revealed as evidence can be found through an internet search. Garo Sero and the informant are claiming that a photo they found online is an assault photo. (sic)"

Later, HoverLab refuted the claims of the audio recordings being AI-generated. According to Koreaboo, GaroSero responded to the claims by saying, "The informant told me not to use a voice actor anymore. From now on, all videos will be made with the informant's actual voice. The informant was upset that people kept calling them a fraud and that the photos were from Google. The informant came to me from the hospital to tell me they would release a video they took on their phone at 4 AM. (sic)"

Amidst the new chaos, late Kim Sae-ron's 'The Man From Nowhere' co-star Won Bin is getting dragged into the controversy around the audio informant. GaroSero claimed that the audio informant, Whistleblower, was attacked in the United States. As per them, Whistleblower's wife claimed that it was Won Bin who helped her husband after the attack.

During the same press conference, GaroSero released another audio recording, in which the informant's wife revealed shocking details about the attack on her husband.

As reported by Koreaboo, she can be heard saying, "I am not Korean. I'm just a woman living in the United States. However, my husband is Korean, and something unimaginably horrible happened to us that changed everything. For months, we lived in fear. From strange phone calls, threats, home address, and truths we couldn't figure out. They even knew my daughter's name and the names of our tenants. Everything changed the day my husband was attacked. The case is being investigated in the United States, and all messages, recordings, and evidence have been turned over. We will reach a legal conclusion in the next few months, and the truth will be revealed. (sic)"

Expressing her gratitude towards Won Bin, she added, "I didn't know who Won Bin was at first, and I didn't know he was famous in Korea, but I found out after seeing what he did. He came quietly. He showed respect. That humanity meant more to us than we could ever have imagined. I sincerely thank you. (sic)"
