Amidst the ongoing dating drama, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho caused an eruption online by sharing an unseen subway clip of Kim Sae-ron, in which the late actress can allegedly be seen engaged in an intimate behavior with a man at Seoul station dated back in May 2019. As reported by Kbizoom, Lee Hin-ho claimed that the leaked video and pics were taken in May 2019, months before Sae-ron officially started dating Soo-hyun apparently.

For those unversed, Soo-hyun's agency GOLDMEDALIST previously claimed that that the two had started dating around August 2019 before parting ways during fall 2020. Lee Jin-ho shared the explosive YouTube video on April 8 even after supposedly getting banned in court from making videos on the late actress.

In the video, Lee Jin-ho can be heard stating, as per Koreaboo, "First, I received a tip that Kim Sae Ron was actually involved with another celebrity, and not Kim Soo Hyun, in 2016. The tip was highly credible, and through it, I was able to understand the situation at that time.

I focused on investigating the two celebrities who were suspected of having been involved with her. However, there was a problem: while there were claims and statements, there was no decisive evidence. There were instances where Kim Sae Ron directly mentioned these individuals to her friends, saying that they were in a relationship, and this was corroborated by the records.

However, upon further investigation, it was confirmed that, contrary to her statements, she was not actually in a relationship with one of the individuals. There were other individuals who also had objective evidence proving the relationship never happened.

Given this, hastily revealing these individuals without proper evidence could result in another witch hunt. As seen in Kim Soo Hyun's case, identifying someone without conclusive evidence only causes harm.

According to Allkpop, Kim Soo-hyun's side has hired a specialist for an 'Author Identification Assessment' regarding the leaked chats between the actor and Sae-ron from 2016, publicized by HOVERLAB. Reportedly, Trubaum Research Center compared the leaked chats between So-hyun and Sae-ron from 2016 with the actor's recent messages sent to his acquaintances in 2025 and revealed the result of the assessment.

For those unversed, the 'author identification assessment' evaluates where the documents, written at different point of time, were actually composed by the same person or not.
