Chayilyam is a dramatic movie, set in the backdrop of the traditional art form of Northern Kerala ‘Theyyam‘. Movie have been screened in International Film Festival Of Kerala 2013(IFFK).
Chayilyam potrays the story of a widow girl Gauri, Whose husband has been passed away soon after her marraiage. Gauri is forced by a group of society to donate Theyyam costume, which makes a goddess out of her.
Chayilyam is directed by debutant veteran theatre artist Manoj Kana.
