Iratta Story

Iratta is a 2023 Malayalam drama movie written and directed by Rohit MG Krishnan. The film stars Joju George and Anjali in lead roles. It also inclues actors like Srinda and Arya Salim, Manoj K.U and Abhiram Radhakrishnan who appeared in key roles.

In the movie, actor Joju Goerge who appears in a dual role. It also marks Tamil actor Anjali's return to the Malayalam film industry. Produced by Sijo Vadakkan under the banner of  Appu Pathu Pappu , the film was co-produced by Martin Prakkat under the banner of his production company. It also marks the reunion between Martin and Joju after 'Nayattu'. The cinematography of the film handled by Vijay and the editing is done by Manu Antony. Jakes Bejoy composed the music for the film.

Plot
It depicts the life of   two identical twins named  Vinod and Pramod. Both of them faced a  a troubled connection with each other. On other had, it narrates a police procedural which follows complex and suspense thriller ideas. It also explored the themes like relationship, sibling rivalry and childhood trauma in its character representation.

The film released in theaters on February 3, 2023

According to the latest reports, the film started streaming on Netflix on March 2, 2023.

The film recieved positive and negative responses from the audiences and critics after its big release. As per the users response, the film is trending on the Netflix Top 10 movies list. Talking about the characters, actor Joju Goerge aced the role confusing the audiences in dual roles. On other hand, the screenplay of the film is confusing until a point, and also the ending part of movie brings in a lot suspenses and twists to audiences.
