Jawan of Vellimala Story

Jawan of Vellimala is a dramatic film starring Mammootty, Sreenivasan, Asif Ali and Mamta Mohandas. The story revolves around a high range village called Vellimala, a dam in this village and the people leaving near by.

The villagers consider the dam as their pride. Mammootty, who reaches Vellimala as a labourer has taken voluntary retirement from Indian military service. Mamta Mohandas plays the role of a project officer at the dam site. The story gets more interesting when Sreenivasan, Asif Ali and the villagers meet.

Jawan of Vellimala is directed by Anoop Kannan under the banner of Play house movie. Music is by Bijibal and the story is written by James Albert.
