L2: Empuraan Story

'L2: Empuraan' is a Malayalam movie directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film features Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Prithviraj,Tovino Thomas and Indrahith Sukumaran in the lead roles.

Written by Murali Gopy, the film is sequel to Prithviraj 's directorial debut 'Lucifer'. The film is to be made on a total budget of Rs 400 crore, also marks the third collaboration of Mohanlal and Sukumaran after Bro Daddy and Lucifer. The film is jointly produced by Prodcuced by Antony Perumbavoor, Vijay Kirgandur and Supriya Menon under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, Aashirvad Cinemas, Hombale Films and Prithviraj Productions. Deepak Dev composed music for the film. The cinematography is handled by Sujith Vaassudev.

Shooting In Progress

The first schedule was completed by the end of October in 2023, and the second schedule began with London as one of its major locations. It has recently been disclosed that the filmmakers successfully wrapped up filming for the second schedule. Prithviraj Sukumaran, on Instagram, posted a photograph with the movie's team, captioning it, 'L2E End of Schedule 2!'

L2: Empuraan is a pan-Indian movie that will be released worldwide in 2024.
