Marco Story
Marco is a Malayalam action-thriller directed by Haneef Adeni, serving as a spin-off to his 2018 film Mikhael, which starred Nivin Pauly.
This film features Unni Mukundan in the titular role and is produced by Shareef Muhammed under the Cubes Entertainments banner in collaboration with Unni Mukundan Films. The ensemble cast includes Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Siddique, Jagadish, and Riyaz Khan. On the technical front, the movie boasts Chandru Selvaraj's cinematography, Shameer Muhammed's editing, and a powerful musical score by Ravi Basrur.
Movie Plot
The story centers on Victor, a blind man whose life is upended when his close friend is brutally murdered. Despite his visual impairment, Victor becomes an unlikely hero, playing a key role in unraveling the mystery behind the crime. His efforts to uncover the truth, however, inadvertently set in motion a tragic turn of events, ultimately leading to his untimely death. In the wake of his brother’s demise, Marco is consumed by a fierce determination to seek justice. Driven by a burning desire for vengeance, he embarks on a perilous journey that pits him against the might of one of Kerala’s most influential and powerful families. Marco’s quest for retribution is fraught with danger, as he confronts obstacles that test both his strength and resolve.
Release Date
Marco was released in theaters on December 20, 2024. Besides Malayalam, it was released in dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
