Sarvam Maya Story

Sarvam Maya is a Malayalam romantic comedy-drama directed by Akhil Sathyan, featuring Nivin Pauly and Preity Mukundhan in the lead roles.

The film is scripted by the director himself and jointly produced by Ajayya Kumar and Rajeev Menon under the banner of Fire Fly Films, in collaboration with Akhil Sathyan’s own production label. The supporting cast includes Aju Varghese, Janardanan, Althaf Salim, Vineeth, and renowned screenwriter Raghunath Paleri, among others. On the technical side, the film boasts cinematography by Sharan Velayudhan, music by Justin Prabhakaran.

Movie Plot
It tells the story of an aspiring musician whose quiet, disciplined life as a priest is built around faith, music, and unfulfilled dreams. His world begins to unravel when he unexpectedly encounters an unconventional ghost one that defies traditional notions of fear and evil. Instead of haunting him in obvious ways, the presence slowly weaves itself into his daily life, questioning his beliefs, testing his faith, and stirring emotions he believed he had long buried.

What starts as a baffling supernatural incident gradually becomes a deeply personal journey. As the line between the spiritual and the human blurs, the priest is forced to confront his inner conflicts, suppressed desires, and the choices that led him to abandon his musical aspirations. The narrative balances mystery and introspection with moments of dark humor, using the ghost as both a catalyst and a mirror to explore themes of guilt, redemption, faith, and self-discovery.
