Amaran Story
Amaran (2024) is a Tamil biographical action movie direction by Rajkumar Periyasamy of Kannum Kunnum Kollaiyadithal fame. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan, alongside Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman and Gaurav Venkatesh. The movie produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, together with Sony Pictures Films India.
Amaran Plot Line
Amaran movie is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan. Mukund Varadarajan AC (12 April 1983 – 25 April 2014) served as an officer in the Indian Army and earned the prestigious Ashoka Chakra posthumously. Commissioned in the Rajput Regiment, Mukund demonstrated exceptional bravery during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the posthumous award of the Ashok Chakra.

The title of SK 21 has indeed been announced as "Amaran" on February 16, 2024, accompanied by an action-packed teaser.
Release
Amaran is set to release on theaters from October 31, 2024. The streaming rights were acquired by Netflix and satellite rights acquired by Star Vijay.
