Chithha Story

Chithha is a 2023 Tamil emotional thriller drama written and directed by Arunkumar, in which Siddharth Narayan starred as an uncle for a small school-going kid, and Nimisha Sajayan also played the pivotal role in this movie as the kid mom. They starred as the leading stars, along with Sahasra, Anjali Nair, and many other supporting actors. Siddharth Narayan produced this movie under the banner of Etaki Entertainment. Red Giant Movies holds the distribution rights to this movie, which they distribute in all theatres in Tamil Nadu.

The original score for this film was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, with soundtracks by Dhibu Ninan Thomas. The lyrics by Yugabharathi and director Arunkumar, as well as the voices of Poorvi, Pradeep Kumar, and Karthika Vaidyanathan, are all impressive. The film's editing by Suresh A. Prasad is precise and sharp, and the cinematography by Balaji Subrahmanyam is visually stunning.

Story

In the serene town, Chithha tells the tale of a school-going kid and his uncle Eeshwaran, who share a bond stronger than blood. The uncle, a loving guardian after his brother's death, cherishes his niece as a precious gem. His unwavering devotion shields her from even the slightest reprimand from her teacher.

Eeshwaran's rissing daughter and his friend's kid are the best friends as they were. They're the same age and go to the same school and class. One day his friend's daughter fell sick, and they were admitted to the hospital for treatment. And then the doctor reported that the small kid was sexually abused. The police officer held the proof in her hands, her eyes narrowing as she read it. Eeshwaran, a victim of Poxo? It was almost too much to believe. But the evidence was there, in black and white. Eeshwaran had been framed, and the police were about to put him in jail under the case of Poxo.

But after that, how Eeshwaran rose from the ashes, whether he was a victim or a survivor, is the heart of this film. It explores the complex emotions and consequences of sexual abuse in a sensitive and thought-provoking way. The film's nuanced storytelling and powerful performances will resonate with audiences long after the credits roll.

Promotion

Siddharth's upcoming film Chithha has released its first look poster, and it is sure to turn heads. The poster features Siddharth in a rugged, middle-aged avatar with a serious look on his face. The poster was unveiled by Jayam Ravi and Vijay Sethupathi, two of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema, which speaks to the excitement surrounding the film.

Siddharth is said to be playing the role of an uncle in Chithha, and his transformation for the role is simply incredible. He looks unrecognisable from his previous roles, and this only adds to the intrigue surrounding the film.

In an interview with a YouTube channel, Haasan praised Sidharth's energy and dedication to the role, saying that he had "indulged his stuff" to bring the character to life.
