Jigarthanda Double X Story
Jigarthanda Double X is an action thriller comedy drama movie that is a sequel to the 2014 blockbuster Jigarthanda, written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Raghava Lawrence and S.J. Surya starred in the lead roles, along with Nimisha Sajayan, Tom Chacko, Sathyan, Ilavarasu, and many others in supporting roles.
Santhosh Narayanan composed the soundtracks and background music for this flick, while Vivek and Muthamil wrote the lyrics to the songs. Thirunavukarasu handled the cinematography of this film, while the editing was overseen by Shafique Mohamed Ali. Kathiresan and Kaarthekeyen Santhanam produced this film under the banner of Stone Bench Films.
Story
In the heart of Madurai, where the sun beats down mercilessly and the streets are slick with blood, a gangster named Pandiyan dreams of stardom. His ambition knows no bounds, and he is determined to become the first dark-skinned actor in Tamil cinema.
Pandiyan hires Ray Dasan, a struggling filmmaker, to direct his debut film, a Clint Eastwood-style western titled Pandyaa. As the cameras roll, Pandiyan's rivals begin to circle, sensing his weakness. But Pandiyan is not one to back down from a fight. Jigarthanda Double X is a stylish and thrilling gangster film, packed with spine-chilling action and hilarious comedy. It is a must-watch for fans of the genre.

Jigarthanda DoubleX began its cinematic journey on December 12, 2022, in the vibrant city of Madurai. The first schedule of principal photography commenced at Thandikudi, and the cameras rolled for 14 days, capturing the essence of the region and the film's unique vision.
On December 11, 2022, the first look poster was unveiled, tantalizing fans with a glimpse of the film's title and its intriguing premise. A day later, on December 12, the teaser was released, igniting excitement and anticipation for the film.
