The only welcome part about Sasikumar’s voiceover is his quick introduction to how the game is played.
Suseenthiran takes up a familiar premise to make a supposed social commentary.
Kennedy Club highlights women’s empowerment. At the same time, tells, if a woman chops her hair, she becomes less-desirable for marriage.
Sasikumar is not at all convincing as a Kabbadi player and maintains the same age-old Subramaniapuram body language and dialogue delivery here too.
Kennedy Club has to be appreciated for getting the nuances of the sport right. The use of real-life Kabaddi players aids the film to a great extent and makes everything believable.
