Nimir Story

Nimir is a Tamil drama movie direction by Priyadarshan. The movie has actor/producer Udhayanidhi Stalin and Malayalam actress Namitha Pramod are playing the lead roles in this movie. Veteran director Mahendran is part of the star cast.

Stroy In Detail

Selvam (Udhayanidhi) is a happy-go young man who belongs to Tenkasi. He is a small time photographer by profession and the owns a photo studio. He is in love with his childhood friend Valli (Parvathi Nair), who is a nurse.

Veteran filmmaker Mahendran plays Selvam's father role. On some day Selvam and his assistant knocks down by Samuthirakani, he is embarrassed in front of his neighbors and vows that he will not wear his slippers again until he get revenge for it.

Did he get succeeded in his revenge and his love forms the rest of the plot.

Nimir is remake of National award winning movie Maheshinte Prathikaram from Malayalam. Nimir shoot was wrapped up after 40 days of continuous filming in Tenkasi. The title of the movie was launched on Oct 5, by Malayalam actor Mohan Lal.

Dharbuka Shiva and Akhilesh Loknath are scoring the music, while Ekambaram handles camera and Samuthirakani pens for dialogues.
