Star Story

Star is a romantic drama Tamil movie written and directed by Elan, the director of the critically acclaimed film Pyaar Prema Kadhal. The movie star cast includes Kavin, Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, and Geetha Kailasam. The film was initially announced in 2020, with Harish Kalyan as the lead actor and Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer, to spark the same magic as his Debut movie. However, the film was put on hold for unknown reasons.

In 2020, the team behind the upcoming Tamil film Star released a first-look poster that showed Harish Kalyan recreating the iconic looks of Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Shah Rukh Khan. Three years later, Elan has decided to revive the project with Kavin, the star of the 2023 film Dada, in the lead role.
