Thangalaan aka Thangalan is a 2024 Tamil historical Tamil Movie was written and directed by Pa Ranjith , while Tamizh Prabha wrote the dialogue. Chiyaan Vikram starred in the lead roles along with Malavika Mohan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Harikrishnan, and many others in supporting roles.

Thangalaan is a historical action-adventure film set against the backdrop of the British Raj era, drawing inspiration from the real-life events of the Kolar Gold Fields.
The story revolves around a fierce tribal leader named Thangalaan, brought to life by the talented Vikram. When a British general, Lord Clement, arrives in search of gold hidden in the village, Thangalaan and his tribe agree to assist. However, their involvement unleashes the wrath of Aarathi, a mysterious woman believed to be a sorceress.
As the villagers face the consequences of their actions, Thangalaan emerges as a protector, leading his people against the forces of evil. The film explores themes of exploitation, rebellion, and the indomitable spirit of the human will.
