Veeram (வீரம் English: Courage) is an Tamil action masala movie directed by Siva and produced by Vijaya Productions. The film features Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah in the lead roles, while an ensemble supporting cast includes Vidharth, Santhanam, Suza Kumar and Abhinaya amongst others.

Story

Vinayagam (Ajith) plays a role elder brother to Shanmugam (Vidharth), Bala, Shiva (Munish) & Kumaran (Suhail), these brothers used to involve in all fun and rowdyism activities. These brothers didn't get married because his elder brother Vinayagam didn't get married. Pichai Muniyandi (Santhanam) plays an advocate role, who used to have fun with those brothers and argue to bring them out from jail after every police arrest.

Kopperndevi (Tamanna) enters into the Vinayagam's life and he fell in love with her. From then they face the problem with Villian (Pradeep Ravad). How they resolve the problem and did Vinayagam and his brothers get married is rest of the story to be watched in big screens.

Box Office Reports

Veeram movie was released on jan 10th at more than 1200 screens worldwide and this movie collected 9.36 crores in first day and same collection remains in for the next two days.

Filming

A press note was released on 4 April 2013 announcing the start of the filming stage of the project, whilst also clarifying the cast and crew. The first schedule for the film began the next day in Hyderabad and went on for two weeks and more. The film was initially rumoured to be titled as Vetri Kondaan or Vinayagam Brothers before finally confirming Veeram, squashing all rumours.

Veeram got a 'U' certificate from the censors and the makers of the film locked the release date as Jan 10, 2014.
