Venghai is about a common man Selvam (Dhanush), who takes up arms due to unavoidable situations. Though he loves to stay away from trouble, the circumstances make him to revolt against the evil forces of the system. On the other side of the story, it shows the bonding of father-son relationship between Veera Pandi (Rajkiran) and Selvam. While Tamanna Bhatia plays the role of leading lady in the film, Prakash Raj once again dons the character of a baddie.
