Mersal Story
The successful distribution & production banner 'Thenandal Entertainment' will be producing its first big budget movie Mersal with Vijay and Atlee combo, this combo's previous movie is the blockbuster movie 'Theri'.
Story In detail
The story of the Mersal moves through the two main characters, Maaran (Vijay), a sincere doctor who fights against corruption and Vettri (Vijay), a magician who is out for a revenge. Both of them are estranged brothers and once they come together, they get to know about their common enemy ,Daniel (SJ Surya), who had killed their father (Thalapathy played by Vijay) and mother (Nithya Menen).
Mersal deals with this revenge tale and has taken up some important social issues, as well. The movie is packed with certain amount of surprise packages along with its own share of entertaining elements. Atlee, the director has laced the movie with entertainment and message.
The movie might resemble yesteryear classics such as Rajini's Moondru Mugam and Kamal's Apoorva Sahodaragal. Atlee, however, has presented old wine in a new bottle with impressive packing and presentation.
The cast of Mersal includes Ilayathalapathy Vijay, SJ Suriya, Jyotika, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha in the lead roles while Vadivelu and Sathiyan plays a pivotal roles in this movie.
The movie crew as follows AR Rahman composes music, GK Vishnu handles camera, while Muthuraj handles art direction and Anal Arasu makes choreography for stunts.
The first single Aalaporaan Tamizhan was released on 10 August 2017. The next single Neethanae was released on 17 August 2017.
The audio launch event was held on 20 August 2017 in a grand manner by Sony Music.
