Vishwanath and Sons is an upcoming Tamil family drama directed and written by Venky Atluri, best known for acclaimed films like Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar. Plot
The story follows Sanjay “Maddy” Vishwanath, an international pistol shooter who continues to chase his sporting dreams even in his 40s. Despite the challenges of age and competition, Maddy remains determined to prove his passion and dedication to the sport.
Alongside his professional journey, the film introduces an unconventional romance when a much younger woman develops feelings for him. Although Maddy initially hesitates due to the age difference, her persistence gradually forms an emotional connection that shapes his personal life. The narrative blends ambition, relationships, and strong family bonds, creating a heartfelt journey of love and self-belief.
Release Date
Vishwanath and Sons is slated for a theatrical release sometime in July, 2026.
