The multi-starrer film has became the first Malayalam movie which had collected Rs 169 crores globally after the release on the 25 days. It is the third Malayalam movie entered into 100 crore club after Malikappuram and Romancham.
Puli Murugan
The 2016 release 'Pulimurugan' is the first Malayalam film cross the 100 crore mark at the box-office. Directed by Vyshakan, it featured actor Mohanlal in the lead role. According to reports, Pulimurugan had collected Rs 135 crores at the world wide box-office while Tovino Thomas' 2018' broken the records of the film in just 17 days.
Drishyam
