Bigg Boss 17 Update: After the huge success of Bigg Boss 16 and Bigg Boss OTT 2, the makers of India's biggest reality show are coming up with the controversial reality show's seventeenth season on Colors TV very soon. As BB 17 is slated to premiere on the small screen next month, the makers have already reached out to several known names.

As exclusively reported by Filmibeat, makers are likely to opt for Singles Vs Couples theme for this year's edition. Notably, known names such as Kanwar Dhillon, Alice Kaushik, Samarth Jurel, Seema Haider, and Sachin Meena have been approached to join the show. While the Bigg Boss 17 makers are still mum about the finalised names, a popular TV actress has finally confirmed being a part of BB 17.

ANKIT GUPTA, PRIYANKA CHOUDHARY CO-STAR CONFIRMED FOR BIGG BOSS 17

Well, we're talking about Isha Malviya who rose to fame after essaying the negative role of Jasmine in Colors TV's hit show Udaariyaan. In the much-loved daily soap, she shared the screen space with Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary who became household names after participating in Bigg Boss 16 last year.

Confirming her participation in Bigg Boss 17, Isha Malviya revealed that she was also approached by the makers last year for Bigg Boss 16, however, she declined the offer and opted to play a double role in Udaariyaan post the generation leap.

Sharing her excitement, Isha told ETimes, "I will be doing Bigg Boss this year. I am happy to be part of the show early on in my career because I don't believe that you have to be many shows old to be part of Bigg Boss. I don't see it as something that should be done when you plan to retire. I feel now is the time to be part of such an interesting show. I was offered the show last year, too. But I was also offered to play a double role after the leap in my fiction show Udaariyaan almost a year ago and so I felt I could wait. But, now my part in Udaariyaan will soon get over."
