Ankit Gupta On Fans’ Response To Junooniyatt After Changes In Storyline: Audience Ko Thoda Zyaada…

Junooniyatt Update: After the success of Udaariyaan, Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta reunited with Colors TV for their second production venture Junooniyatt earlier this year. Featuring Ankit Gupta, Gautam Singh Vig, and Neha Rana in the lead roles, the musical drama premiered in February this year amid huge buzz and expectations.

While the show opened to a good response, it witnessed a dip in TRPs after the initial run of two-three months. Earlier, Ankit Gupta also reacted to the underperformance of Junooniyatt and revealed that the team will work harder to make sure that the viewers are enjoying the show.

Last month, the daily soap suffered a change in the time slot. While the show initially got launched at 8:30 slot, it now airs at 9 pm on Colors TV. Not just that, the creatives also introduced several changes in the storyline post which Junooniyatt has indeed started performing well in comparison to earlier.

In a recent interview, Ankit Gupta finally opened up about viewers' response to Junooniyatt after the changes in storyline and timeslot. Talking to ABP Sanjha, he said, "I think, ab jaa ke hamare show Junooniyatt mein kuch twists and turns aa rahe hai. Ab joki audience ko thoda zyaada pasand aa raha hai toh aur zyaada twists and turns aane wale hai. Aur jo pehle episode se Jahaan bolte aa raha hai ki mai mamma-papa ka badla lunga, ab woh time aa raha hai jab ye apne mamma-papa ka badla le raha hai. So, just dekhte rahiye Junooniyatt aapko bohot maza aane wala hai."

The plotline of Junooniyatt has ensnared its viewers with its fusion of music and romance. The recent turn in the narrative has escalated the tension, showcasing the remarkable talent of the lead trio.

Recently, a significant misunderstanding led to Elahi marrying Jordan instead of Jahaan, evoking a sense of sadness among dedicated fans. Presently, to further complicate the already intricate love triangle involving Jahaan, Elahi, and Jordan.
