Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa Co-Star Confirms REJECTING Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: There Isn’t Any Way…

Anupamaa News: Star Plus has been ruling the TRP charts for a long time and its two shows, Anupamaa and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin are among the highest-rated daily soaps on the small screen currently. While Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna essay the lead roles in Rajan Shahi's family drama, GHKKPM recently took a generation leap.

While Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh finally moved out of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the makers recently introduced Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma as the new leads Ishaan and Savi respectively. Besides them, the show also witnessed many new entries post-leap.

ANUPAMAA STAR AMAN MAHESHWARI REJECTED GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN

Well, the makers of GHKKPM had also approached one of Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa co-stars to essay the negative lead in the show after the leap. Well, we're talking about Aman Maheshwari who is currently seen as Nakul in the much-loved Star Plus show.

In a recent interview, Aman Maheshwari confirmed being offered the negative lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and revealed that he turned it down. Yes, you read that right!

Talking to ETimes about the same, the actor stated, "I was approached for the negative lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin post leap. But I chose to pick Anupamaa and when you are doing such a hit show there isn't any way I could do something else. We are already caught up with the high-voltage track in the show."

TERI MERI DORIYAANN MAKERS ALSO APPROACHED AMAN MAHESHWARI

Not just that, Aman Maheshwari also revealed being offered the parallel lead in another Star Plus show, Teri Meri Doriyaann, featuring Vijayendra Kumeria and Himanshi Parashar in the lead roles of Angad and Sahiba respectively.

He was initially offered the role of Garry in the show but declined it as he wanted to do something different back then. Later, Tushar Dhembla bagged the role of Garry in Teri Meri Doriyaann and is fetching a good response from viewers.

Aman, on the other hand, is getting appreciation for his performance as Nakul in Anupamaa. Hence, we can say that everything happens for the best.
