Yeh Hai Chahatein Generation Leap: Ever since its premiere in December 2019, Yeh Hai Chahatein, the highly acclaimed Star Plus show that serves as a spin-off to Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has been capturing the hearts of audiences with its captivating storyline.
However, the devoted fans of the show are currently expressing their dissatisfaction as Yeh Hai Chahatein is set to undergo a significant generation leap. These reports further suggest that as a result of this leap, the talented duo of Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra will bid farewell to the daily soap, leaving the fans disheartened.
SARGUN KAUR LUTHRA CONFIRMS QUITTING YEH HAI CHAHATEIN
In a recent interview, lead actress Sargun Kaur Luthra has finally confirmed that she'll exit the hit show within a month. Yes, you read that right! Revealing the same, she stated that the actress is not ready to play mother to a grown-up in the show after the leap.
Talking to ETimes, she stated, "When the show was first offered to me, I had to play mother to my sister's son and I was okay because I was not playing a real mother at 21. Then after a few months, I was playing mother to two children and though I wasn't okay, I went ahead with it. But I really had reservations in playing mother to an actress, who is few years older to me, but since the role was only for a month and my track would be over, I agree. I have given three years to the show, so I wanted to give my best and agreed."
Yeh Hai Chahatein proved to be a turning point in Sargun's career. Sharing her thoughts, the actress stated that she had the opportunity to feature in two shows before YHC, however, the level of fame that she experienced with the Star Plus was unparalleled. It was a turning point in her career as people began recognizing her, and she formed a strong bond with netizens through social media as well.
Well, her fans are surely going to miss her in Yeh Hai Chahatein. Also, Abrar Qazi too is likely to leave the show soon. However, he's yet to confirm the same.
